From Leonardo Da Vinci's drapery study to the actual realization of a finish that evokes the elegance of fabrics. The light and dark shadow plays, together with the three-dimensional effect of the metal sheet, recall the Renaissance and its magical atmosphere.
Use a cotton or microfibre cloth dampened with water and neutral detergent, rubbing it all over the surface. Remove the remaining detergent with a clean cloth dampened only with water. Then, dry the surface. It is advisable to test any new cleaning agents on areas which are not on view
To preserve the finish, it is advisable to avoid products containing muriatic acid, bleach or chlorine in general, as they can change the colour of the finish; deoxidising creams (like Smac), aggressive solvents such as ammonia or anti-limescale; abrasives (e.g. sponges) or products with micro particles, as they can scratch the surface. Prolonged contact with some substances generates generally light-coloured discolourations. It is advisable to rinse thoroughly in case of spillage on the surface.
