Protected drapery burnished copper

Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's drapery technique, giving a motion feeling and creating dark-light shade transitions adding to copper a soft, three-dimensional look. A technique that emphasizes depth while adding bright and vivid points of light. The protected version prevents the typical gradual oxidation of this material, making it suitable for home furnishing environments, preserving its aesthetic features over time.

Use a cotton or microfibre cloth dampened with water and neutral detergent, rubbing it all over the surface. Remove the remaining detergent with a clean cloth dampened only with water. Then, dry the surface. It is advisable to test any new cleaning agents on areas which are not on view

To preserve the finish, it is advisable to avoid abrasives, as they can scratch the surface; acids, as they could facilitate oxide formation; products containing bleach or chlorine; solvents. If these substances come in contact with the surface, rinse thoroughly. Prolonged contact with some substances can generate halos. It is advisable to rinse thoroughly in case of spillage on the surface.
